Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using the store or placing an order. They are written for the THREAD DISTRICT storefront and should be reviewed alongside the Privacy Policy, delivery and payment information, returns policy, and any checkout notices shown to you.
This page is a business-ready policy draft for customer transparency. It does not replace legal advice, and THREAD DISTRICT may update it as operations, payment methods, fulfilment partners, or legal requirements change.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions apply when you visit, browse, create an account, save products, place an order, submit a review, contact support, or use any customer feature on THREAD DISTRICT.
By using the website, you confirm that you understand these terms and agree to follow them. If you do not agree, you should stop using the website and avoid placing an order.
Where a specific page, policy, checkout notice, product note, payment instruction, or fulfilment message gives more specific information, that information forms part of the terms that apply to that part of the store.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account, contact, payment, delivery, pickup, and support information. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for activity connected to your account.
Customers under 18 should only use the store with a parent or guardian. THREAD DISTRICT may refuse, suspend, or restrict access where account activity appears inaccurate, abusive, fraudulent, automated, or harmful to customers, partners, or store operations.
- Keep your email address, phone number, name, and fulfilment details current.
- Do not attempt to access another account or interfere with store security.
- Do not misuse referrals, reviews, support forms, checkout, or promotions.
3. Products, availability, and sizing
Product pages are provided to help you review the relevant brand, item description, images, price, stock, size or variant, fulfilment options, and related product information before checkout.
Images, colors, sizing descriptions, availability, stock levels, prices, discounts, collections, and product content may change without notice. Adding an item to a cart or wishlist does not reserve stock permanently.
You are responsible for checking the selected product, size, color, quantity, delivery method, pickup details, and order summary before submitting payment.
4. Orders and acceptance
When you submit checkout details, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. THREAD DISTRICT may accept, reject, cancel, or review that offer depending on payment status, stock availability, fulfilment details, fraud checks, product restrictions, or operational capacity.
An order is not treated as complete merely because checkout was started or because an automated message was generated. The order may still require payment confirmation, stock confirmation, and usable delivery or pickup information.
If an order cannot be fulfilled in full, THREAD DISTRICT may contact you, cancel unavailable items, offer an alternative where appropriate, or process a refund through the available payment workflow.
5. Pricing, promotions, and errors
THREAD DISTRICT aims to keep pricing, product information, discounts, fees, and availability accurate. Errors may still occur. If a product, discount, delivery fee, or order total is shown incorrectly, THREAD DISTRICT may correct the error, decline the order, cancel the affected item, or refund the relevant payment.
Promotions, referral rewards, discounts, store credits, and limited offers may have conditions, expiry rules, usage limits, product exclusions, or review requirements. THREAD DISTRICT may pause or reverse promotional benefits where misuse or technical error is suspected.
6. Payments
Payment methods depend on the checkout options available at the time you place the order. THREAD DISTRICT may use ZB Smile & Pay and any other payment providers enabled in the active checkout flow.
Payment for an order may be taken or authorized during checkout, but fulfilment depends on a successful payment result and store confirmation. Failed, expired, declined, reversed, abandoned, or unverified payments do not create a completed purchase.
If money appears to have been deducted while your order remains pending, do not place duplicate orders immediately. Contact support with your order ID, account email, payment time, and payment reference so the transaction can be checked.
7. Delivery, pickup, and tracking
Available fulfilment methods are shown during checkout and may include delivery, pickup, or both depending on the product setup, address, pickup point, stock position, and operational capacity.
Delivery estimates, pickup windows, courier timelines, pickup readiness, and tracking updates are operational estimates and not guaranteed delivery times. Delays can occur because of stock processing, payment checks, courier availability, location details, weather, public holidays, or other third-party factors.
For pickup orders, you may need to provide the order ID, pickup code, account email, phone number, or another reasonable verification detail before goods are released.
8. Returns, cancellations, and refunds
Return, cancellation, and refund requests are reviewed based on order stage, payment status, fulfilment progress, product type, item condition, and the reason for the request.
THREAD DISTRICT does not offer size, color, style, preference, or change-of-mind exchanges. Returns are reviewed for damaged-in-transit or wrong-item cases and may require photos, order details, packaging information, and support verification.
Items that appear worn, washed, used, altered, missing original context, or inconsistent with the original order may be declined. Refund timing can depend on payment-provider processing and the completion of any required review.
9. Fraud, abuse, and unusual activity
THREAD DISTRICT may delay, cancel, refund, restrict, or investigate orders and accounts where unusual, suspicious, abusive, or fraudulent activity is detected.
Examples include repeated payment disputes, claims that do not match delivery or pickup records, excessive returns, suspected wear-and-return activity, duplicate accounts, promotion abuse, referral abuse, false support submissions, automated activity, or attempts to bypass checkout or security controls.
10. Website content and intellectual property
The website, design, product presentation, images, text, branding, logos, product copy, collections, reviews, and other content are owned by THREAD DISTRICT, its partners, or the relevant rights holders.
You may use the website for personal shopping and account management. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, sell, exploit, modify, or commercially reuse store content without permission.
11. Reviews, submissions, and public content
If you submit a review, support message, referral claim, contact form, or other content, you must ensure that it is accurate, lawful, respectful, and relevant to the store interaction.
THREAD DISTRICT may moderate, reject, edit, or remove submissions that are false, offensive, abusive, defamatory, promotional, misleading, unlawful, harmful, or unrelated to the relevant product, order, or support issue.
12. External links and third-party services
The website may link to or rely on third-party services, including payment, authentication, hosting, delivery, email, analytics, or support tools. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
THREAD DISTRICT is not responsible for third-party websites or services that are outside its control, but it will use reasonable care when selecting services needed to operate the store.
13. Warranties and limitation of liability
THREAD DISTRICT provides the website and store information on an as-available basis. While reasonable effort is made to keep the website secure, accurate, and available, uninterrupted access and error-free content cannot be guaranteed.
To the extent allowed by applicable law, THREAD DISTRICT is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from website use, delayed information, unavailable products, interrupted services, payment-provider issues, courier delays, or reliance on general website information.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer or statutory law.
14. Changes to these terms
THREAD DISTRICT may update these terms as the storefront, payment methods, fulfilment model, product range, support process, or legal obligations change.
The latest version published on this page applies from the date shown on the page. Continued use of the website after changes are published means the updated terms apply going forward.
15. Governing law and severability
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable to THREAD DISTRICT's operations in Zimbabwe, unless another mandatory law applies to a particular consumer issue.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining sections continue to apply as far as legally possible. A failure to enforce a term immediately does not mean THREAD DISTRICT has waived the right to enforce it later.
16. Contact
For questions about these terms, an order, payment, delivery, pickup, return, refund, or account issue, contact THREAD DISTRICT support with enough information to identify the matter safely.
Helpful details include your order ID, account email, phone number, product title, selected size or variant, payment reference, delivery or pickup method, and any relevant photos or messages.
